Title Synopsis:
This book was inspired from actual childhood experiences with an Appaloosa
horse. It is about a one-year-old horse named Whinny who is moving to a new
home in the country. He learns how to make new friends and not fear different
experiences in a new home.
Author Bio:
Julia Pierce is a healthcare professional who has cared for children and adults for
over 45 years. She has taught nursing at various levels throughout her career and she is also a mother with a family.
Mike Pierce (co author and illustrator) After practicing Landscape Architecture and later teaching for 32
years, the retired consultant has illustrated children’s books and numerous music
videos.
