Title Synopsis: You may think you are eating a healthy diet, but are you truly getting the nutrition your body needs daily for good health and longevity?
The truth is most Americans are missing out on critical nutrients our bodies need to function, heal, and thrive. We are also consuming unhealthy levels of added sodium, sugar and saturated fat. The result? Low energy. Poor brain function. Early onset of disease and aging.
You should also know that over the long term being consistently undernourished increases our risk of chronic conditions. These include cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and dementia. Today, 60% of all U.S. adults have a chronic condition!
Don’t feel guilty, nutrition and diet are complicated. Many of us are confused by all the available nutrition information. Often, we encounter conflicting, or worse, misleading nutritional advice. We’re overwhelmed by all the recommended supplements that we’re not sure we even need.
If this is you, I have good news. Absolute Nutrition will answer your questions and provide a straightforward explanation of nutrition and a specific approach to foods and meals that achieve the daily nutrients needed for good health.

About the Author: Christopher D. Smith grew up in the southern United States in Richmond, Virginia. He lived part of his work years in Connecticut, but mostly in Atlanta, Georgia. He has two grown kids, a sister, and many good close friends.
Chris’s career was almost entirely in the insurance industry. For the last 25 years, he was the CEO of a medical malpractice insurance company that insured large healthcare systems on the East Coast of the U.S. His position had Chris working with many highly respected physicians, hospital and medical school leaders, and also many lawyers. This background helped him build skills in evaluating complicated systems, assessing conflicting priorities and complex ideas, and simplifying them into actionable strategies.
Chris thinks this background greatly supported Chris in evaluating nutrition and diet. It provided him with a high attention to detail, skills to deal with conflicting and incomplete thoughts and data, and lastly, the patience to weed through tons of materials. These attributes helped Chris to assess the available information on nutrition, foods, and diet, and develop a coherent approach to dieting.
