Author Bio: Alida is a wife, mother, and K-12 educator that has served in numerous educational capacities and settings over the past 20 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Management and holds a Master of Science degree in Middle Grades Education, with additional postgraduate work in Educational Leadership and Gifted Education. Alida’s career started in Education as a Middle Grades Language Arts Teacher and she has also taught Middle Grades Math and K-5 Gifted education. She has taught Middle and High School Life Skills and served as a charter school administrator. In addition to her teaching and administrative duties, she has also served as PTA president, a Parent Trainer, and a Teacher Trainer for a large urban school district.
