The control of diet and weight depends primarily on the ability of the individual to perceive his emotional state by determining it accurately and at the same time to seek that unmet need which leads him to frustrate the effort. The book leaves aside the wooden language of dietary guidelines and eating patterns and deals with dieting success through understanding and self-acceptance.
Guided by the vision, the ideal life that everyone imagines for themselves, the coach helps the person in front of them to plan the steps that need to be taken to make it happen.
Author Bio:
Andreas Constantinou was born in Larnaca in 1978. He is a dietitian-nutritionist who graduated from TEI of Thessaloniki with a scholarship. He was retrained on eating disorders and obesity by the Center for Education and Treatment of Eating Disorders (KEDD). In 2017 he completed one of the most demanding coaching trainings in the world, under the auspices of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), obtaining the title of Certified Health & Wellness Coach (CHWC). She has organized speaking engagements on nutrition and behavior change topics for both the public and for the training needs of other colleagues, presenting "tools" for case management. He has been a contributor and columnist in the newspaper "Apopsi" and many of his articles have been published in the scientific portal diatrofi.gr. Today he is a private practitioner in his personal dietetic office "My Diet Coach" in Larnaca, Cyprus.
